The moment when a child starts walking after tumbling over a number of times brings an indescribable joy in the life of parents—I too am going through such a joy right now in introducing the very first edition of our school magazine, “ABHYUDAYA” 2019-20

Abhyudayaa means 'to rise' and likewise this first folio is a cumulative effort to foster, encourage and accord wings to the embryonic talents of the children. The session 2019-20 has been an overwhelming one in many ways and it still continues to be so.APS Old Cantt has been established to impart quality education to the wards of army personnel with the firm affirmation of “Truth is God”.

I feel so appreciative to announce to all my readers through this platform that we have been quite successful in providing state of the art Infrastructure facilities to our students and an ideal atmosphere for the holistic development of their selves.

This year we have inducted two new synthetic basketball courts aided with modern technologies. One full size football ground, new music room and pre fabricated classroom are also been constructed. As we are gearing up for the coming session in which students are going to take their first ever board examinations and keeping the same in mind students are hereby encouraged to perform well in each endeavour they take. I always encourage my students to have an active and dynamic participation in various curricular and co-curricular activities. Innovative techniques, rich resources, proven instructional strategies and engaging programs to promote student learning are used to ensure development of our students. We also inculcate moral values in our students through regular classroom and assembly interactions.

I appreciate the sincere efforts of my staff members for bringing up the annual school magazine ABHYUDAYA in such a short span of time. And for my students I have only one message which I would like to say through a famous slogan said by Swami Vivekanand:

“Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached”
